Netlfix Senna and Persol
Netflix has released a limited series titled "Senna" honouring the life and legacy of Ayrton Senna, the iconic Formula 1 driver. The series will explore his career from his early karting days and rise through Formula Ford and Formula 3, to his historic achievements in Formula 1, including his intense rivalries, personal relationships, and ultimately, his tragic death during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone plays Ayrton Senna, capturing both his on-track genius and off-track personality. The series incorporates real figures from Senna's life, such as Alain Prost (played by Matt Mella), his family, and notable figures from the motorsport world, as well as fictional elements to deepen the narrative.
"Senna" is produced by Gullane in partnership with Senna Brands and features input from the driver's family, ensuring authenticity in depicting his life story. The show is directed by Vicente Amorim and Júlia Rezende, with scenes shot in both Brazil and Europe.

The collection features classic Persol hues, such as black and Havana, paying tribute to the timeless sophistication associated with the brand and Senna's legacy.
